The Gekko team had a great site visit at Damang Gold Mine – a journey that began over two decades ago with the commissioning of the InLine Leach Reactor (ILR), which produces a significant portion of the site’s gold. Gekko’s ILR has been a trusted technology for intensive leaching of gold and silver concentrates since 1996, operating successfully in over 30 countries.

Gekko’s latest addition at the Damang Gold Mine, the Carbon Scout, takes precision to a new level, enabling automated carbon management. The Carbon Scout collects data more safely, frequently and accurately than manual methods, freeing operators for less repetitive tasks. The Carbon Scout also measures pH and dissolved oxygen levels from the same sample used for measuring carbon concentrations, eliminating the need for multiple probes in each tank.
