The Gekko team is delighted to welcome our new Gekko Associate Ken Roberts who will be taking care of our customers in North America.
Ken Roberts has over 32 years of experience in the mineral processing industry and has experience in both dry and wet mineral separation from gold processing, iron ore, mineral sands, and nepheline syenite. He engineered and designed the ADR gold plant for Alamos’ Young Davidson mine. Ken designed the gravity circuit for Canada’s longest running gold plant at the Dome mine in Timmins Ontario. In addition, he was responsible for all testwork and design of the paste plant at the Campbell mine in Red Lake, Ontario.
Ken has been involved with the design and engineering of the following flotation circuits: Antamina Peru, Copper Mountain BC, Highland Valley Copper BC, Strathcona Sudbury, IOC Labrador City, Huckleberry BC, Saucito Mexico, Fresnillo Mexico and Kennecott USA among others.
He has been honoured by the Canadian Mineral Processors in 2009 by receiving the Bill Moore Special Achievement Award for recognition of meritorious service to the division and has also been honoured by the Canadian Mineral Processors in 2017 by receiving the Ray MacDonald Volunteer Award.
