The “OLGA Mk3” launched by Gekko Systems
The “OLGA Mk3” launched by Gekko Systems has a new operating system featuring multiplexing and improved data collection. The OLGA is a flagship product for Gekko’s real-time data instrumentation division and operates alongside other key products such as the Carbon Scout to assist in measuring the recovery of gold real-time in gold processing plants.
Tantalite recovery from lithium bearing spodumene concentrate
Gekko Systems successfully employed the IPJ in a 8 tph pilot plant to recover tantalite from Alliance Mineral Assets Limited’s spodumene concentrate product. The results, as outlined in a recently released case study, showed the potential to create an additional revenue stream for Alliance Mineral Assets Limited through tantalite recovery.
Working towards reducing gold in solution tails
Tomingley Gold Operations installed a Carbon Scout in 2018. The Carbon Scout collects data more safely, frequently and accurately than manual methods, freeing operators for less repetitive tasks. The Carbon Scout also measures pH and dissolved oxygen levels from the same sample used for measuring carbon concentrations, eliminating the need for multiple probes in each tank.
