Ballarat Goldfields

Installation of the InLine Pressure Jig

Gekko Systems has recently designed, engineered and built the Stage 1 Process Plant for Ballarat Goldfields (BGF). The plant currently has a capacity of 600,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) with the capacity to increase production significantly beyond that after completion of Stage 2. The plant started commissioning in December 2005 and achieved the target of a first gold pour prior to Christmas.

Argyle Diamonds

Installation of the Gekko Modular Diamond Plant

Gekko Systems recently successfully trialled a 20 tonne per hour Modular Diamond Pilot Plant at the Argyle Diamond Mine in Western Australia. The plant was installed to investigate the possibility of pre-concentrating alluvial and tailings material using an Inline Pressure Jig (IPJ) prior to Dense Media Separation (DMS) treatment.
