Dr Adam Teague and Craig Headley joins Gekko’s Technical Team

Peter Gray, Technical Services Manager at Gekko Systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Adam Teague and Craig Headley as Senior Metallurgists at Gekko’s Ballarat office.

Dr Teague joined Gekko from Legend International Holdings, where he was employed as Metallurgy Manager and during this time developed the phosphate processing plant. Adam’s qualifications include a Doctorate of Philosophy on gold flotation and leaching and First Class Honours in Metallurgical Engineering. He has extensive chemical and flotation experience from his employment at Orica Mining Chemicals, and has published several papers on the subjects of gold, base metals and phosphate flotation.

Craig Headley has also joined Gekko Systems as a Senior Metallurgist with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mineral Science in Extractive Metallurgy & Chemistry. Craig has worked extensively, both in Australia and overseas, as a Senior Metallurgist and Lead Commissioning Engineer for many world-renowned mining companies, including Newcrest Mining, Newmont Mining, Barrick Gold and Straits Resources.

Both Dr Teague’s and Mr Headley’s focus at Gekko Systems will be dedicated to supporting clients world-wide as well as building on existing client relationships in the mineral processing industry.
