Gekko is a relatively young company. It was co-founded in 1996 by husband and wife team, Sandy Gray and Elizabeth Lewis-Gray, in Avoca, Victoria, Australia.
Gekko started out producing InLine Pressure Jigs for continuous gravity separation. Yet growing demand for energy-efficient devices spurred Gekko to re-invent and advance traditional processing flowsheets.
Applied for Research and Development Grant to develop the InLine Pressure Jig for hard rock applications.
Gekko Opens for Business.
